Sponsors come forward

This has been a difficult year for businesses and individuals, as orders and work have dried up with the downturn in the world economy. It was not a good year then to go cap in hand to companies and individuals asking for money for the national team.

All the more surprising then when so many have responded.

AMDOCS have given the same generous sponsorship as in previous tournaments to help the national players.

SPORTS DIRECT and EASY COMPUTERS have paid for the national cricket kit.

Srilankan Consul DOROS JEROPOULOS, teacher and cricket coach JOHN MILLS, BRAND ENGINEERING and long time supporters of Cyprus Cricket SIX MARKIDES PROJECTS have sponsored individual players.

We are thankful to them all and hope still that others will join them.
