Ay Nik Taverners Cricket Club

ANTCC are a predominately military side formed in January 2007 following the break-up of the ESBA side into ANTCC and Dhekelia Village. The team is made up of players from the military, but local non-military players are welcomed. The team plays at Ayios Nikolaos camp and occasionally use Dhekelia’s cricket ground.

Team training takes place on Tuesday at 1430 – 1630 and on some Sundays at 1100 when there is no game.

Junior cricket is also catered for with sessions being held on Thursday at 1430 with a link up with Cyprus Cricket Youth sessions on Saturdays at Happy Valley.

Visiting Captains/Managers are requested to e-mail lists of players/spectators including Date of Birth, Nationality and Passport/ID numbers, along with vehicle type/colour/registration on the Monday, prior to a Sunday game to the e-mail address below. This will enable us to process passes into the base.

Visiting Captains are requested to inform their players that spiked and studded footwear is unsuitable for use at Ayios Nikolaos.  This is due to the pitch being in very poor repair.  We will advise if and when this situation changes, but Cyprus League Umpires have agreed that any player attempting to take the field in non flat soled footwear will be asked to change.  We apologise for any inconvenience this causes.
