Touring in Cyprus

Touring sides usually come pre or post the cricket season in the UK. That is from March to April and Oct to Dec. Weather in Cyprus can be variable early in the year, sometimes quite chilly by Cyprus conditions but fair by UK standards, and is usually tee shirt weather later in the year right up to the end of Dec.

We have eight league sides that can provide an opposition. The best sides would be second eleven county league standard, with one or two exceptional players that play above that standard. If your team is stronger than that then we would put up our national side, or a team of the best players from all the teams. This should be about first eleven league standard.

If you just want a social game then we can put up a social team of ageing ex pats.

We play on artificial pitches at the very scenic Happy Valley ground near Episkopi, mid way between Limassol and Paphos. (shown under the banner on our website) This is an open area owned by the military. It has two cricket pitches, both with sight screens, as well as a golf course, horse riding and the most spectacular beach in Cyprus.
