Mustangs overwhelm Sri Lankans in one sided match
It was a great day for Mustangs beating rivals Sri Lankan team and moving one step ahead. Mustangs lost the toss and were invited to bat. Mustangs' pillars Rupinder & Rehman, looked strong at wicket and challenged the bowling power of Sri Lankan.
Bal Rupinder hitting the ball to glory with 114 runs to his credit was joined hand in hand by Aftab and Captain Happy who made 53 not out. Final score 205 / 20 overs / 5 wickets.
The Lankans started their innings in style; hitting the first ball for six. But the Mustangs' bowling was too strong; and soon the Lankans crumbled to 15-5. A good stand by 2 players took them to 40 for 5, then smart fielding by Mustangs created two run outs and the last hope of the Sri Lankans and they were all out for 56 runs in 16 overs.
