This was a "must win" game for Fellows to give themselves a chance to progress to the knockout stage of the competition.
Batting first, Fellows put a reasonable total of 148 in their 20 overs for 5 wickets. Opener Zeeshan gave them a good start with a swashbuckling 65, helped by Gopi, who crouched so low he made a knee high ball into a full toss, with 48. But Fellows were caught in the headlights for the last overs unable to add more than a couple of runs, held down by the intelligent bowling of Crossley senior and Long, who bowled a maiden for the last over.
Akrotiri started strongly with at 10 an over for the first 4, but were held back by the spin of Sonu and Balbir. Then scoring steadily, Long (37no) and Growdon (35) overtook Fellows total in the 18th over with 4 wickets down.
