Amdocs vs Mustangs 29 April 2018
In an excellent game, Amdocs pulled off a unexpected victory against Mustangs. Mustangs batted first with Bimal and Jeewan batting well, approaching a 50 partnership before the fall of Bimal started a collapse - the next 4 wickets managing only 12 runs between them. The tail wagged with Kasam and Ranjit scoring 49 between them before they were all out for 140 in the 20th over.
Amdocs started slowly. Opener Ankit took a cautious look at the bowling - understandably as 3 quick wickets fell at the other end. After 10 overs, Amdocs had reached 50/3 and needed an improbable 91 to win in ten overs. Improbable, but not impossible! After the drinks break, Ankit and Kajalwala attacked the bowling and Mustangs' bowling lost its earlier discipline - 29 extras in a T20 game - including 18 wides - was bound to be costly. Ankit and Kajalwala saw Amdocs home with 10 balls to spare.
The game was played in good spirits with Mustangs' players enjoying the game, despite the loss.
